1. What information is collected?

Flashcards and quizzes: Terms and definitions entered in the Study Studio are processed in your browser. The website code does not intentionally send your deck to Techluna servers or create user accounts. Reloading or closing the page clears the deck.

Focus timer: Timer settings and running time remain in your browser session and are not uploaded by the tools.

Plan enquiries: Following a paid-plan enquiry link opens the contact form and can prefill your chosen plan. Your request is not uploaded by that prefill; if you then choose to send an email, its contents are handled as described below. No payment card information is collected by this static version, and no paid account data is held by these scripts.

Contact: If you choose to email us, your email provider sends your name, email address, message and any other information you include to our mailbox. The website contact form prepares an email in your own email application and does not independently submit data to a server.

Technical access: The website's hosting provider may automatically process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, device or browser information and timestamps for site delivery and security. Confirm these details against your chosen hosting provider's setup.

Future paid service: The pricing page advertises proposed paid tiers but checkout and activation are not yet implemented. Introducing payments or accounts will require updates to this notice to identify payment processors, account data, retention and other relevant processing.

2. Why do we use this information?

• To operate and secure the site and respond to technical requests. Relevant lawful bases may include legitimate interests in providing and protecting the service.
• To respond to enquiries you choose to send us. Depending on context, the lawful basis is generally legitimate interests in handling your request or steps requested before a contract.
• To comply with applicable legal requirements, where necessary.

The operator must review and confirm the applicable UK GDPR lawful bases before launch.

3. Cookies and device storage

This version does not install analytics, marketing or advertising trackers. It stores a single local-browser preference to remember when you dismiss the privacy notice. Read our cookie policy for details. If analytics or other non-essential tracking is added later, the policy and consent controls must be updated first.

4. Who may receive personal data?

Depending on the published setup, hosting and email service providers may process technical information or messages on behalf of the operator. The operator must identify actual providers, their roles and any transfers outside the UK before publication. The current flashcard generator itself does not send study content to an AI model or external API.

5. How long do we keep data?

Study content is not kept by the website after the tab is closed or reloaded. The notice preference can remain in local browser storage until you clear it.

Emails and technical hosting logs are retained according to the operator's documented retention schedule. Personal data should not be kept longer than necessary for its stated purpose.

6. Your privacy rights

Subject to the applicable conditions and exemptions, UK data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and in some circumstances request portability. You can contact the operator using the privacy email above to make a request.

You can also raise concerns with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

7. Children and sensitive information

Our browser-based tools are educational, but please do not enter sensitive personal data into flashcards or include it in a message to us unless it is necessary. Parents or guardians should help younger users decide whether to contact the operator.

8. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy when the website, its hosting arrangements or applicable rules change. The updated date at the top of this page will show when revisions take effect.
